Office Sweden in Loftahammar

The Swedish department of our office is established in Loftahammar, Västervik; in the heart of the Norra Tjust Archipelago. Although only 432 people officially live in Loftahammar, it has acquired a prominent place in the surroundings of Småland, having its own harbour, golf course, spa, supermarket, bakery, ferry service through the archipelago, tourist info and 3 restaurants. Loftahammar has all this to offer as a result of the ten thousands of Swedes spending their holidays and weekends in their holiday houses or those of their friends and families. 

In the immediate vicinity, municipality Västervik

By car or by boat you can pay a visit to the city of Västervik. The ancient city centre, located around the harbour, represents a long and rich history. The combination of all the restaurants, cafés, shops and the many events organized in summer, create a vigorous atmosphere, making a visit to this city worth your while! 

Five thousand islands

By ferry, rental boat or by a boat trip organized by Sweeds, you can visit many islands in the beautiful Norra Tjust Archipelago. Enjoy life on the water, take a dive in the freshwater, or sunbathe on one of the many beaches. For a delightful lunch or dinner you will find many restaurants on the various islands, where you can enjoy traditional and always fresh dishes.

Right of public access

If walking or biking is of your interest, then Sweden is the place to be for you. Follow the numerous paths through forests and fields or create your own path. Sweden offers you the possibility to cross every path you would like, as long as you show respect for its nature. 

Region Småland and Stockholm

This only represents a fraction of what this beautiful region has to offer you. Within a 1,5 hour-drive, you will reach the cities of Linköping, Söderköping and Norrköping. Also the amusement park ‘Astrid Lindgren’s Värld’ and the largest zoo of Northern Europe in Kolmården (including a safari park and a dolphinarium), are within close reach.
